CodeCraft by Chandan ("we", "us", "our") develops and publishes Status Saver Pro (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. It applies to the App on Android and to this web page.
01Summary
• Your WhatsApp statuses and saved media stay on your device. We never upload them.
• We collect only what is needed to run optional features: your account (if you sign in), push notifications, and Premium purchases.
• Ads are provided by Google AdMob, which uses your device's advertising ID as described below.
• We do not sell your personal information.
02Information that stays on your device
Status media: the App reads only the WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business ".Statuses" folder that you choose through Android's folder picker (Storage Access Framework). It never requests "All files access". Statuses you view and save are stored only on your device (saved copies go to your gallery under ManyCraft/StatusSaverPro) and are never sent to us.
Dashboard history: phone numbers you message with Direct Chat, codes you scan and links you open are kept in a local history on your device so you can repeat them. You can swipe items away or clear the list at any time. This history is not sent to us.
App preferences: settings such as dark mode are stored locally on your device.
03Information we collect
Account (optional): if you create an account or sign in, Firebase Authentication processes your email address and password. We store your name and email address in our Firebase database to run your account. We never see or store your password in readable form.
Push notifications: to send notifications, the App stores a Firebase Cloud Messaging token together with a device identifier, device model name, platform, the time the App was last opened and, if you are signed in, your email address and account ID.
Premium purchases: purchases are handled by Google Play. When you buy Premium, the App sends the purchase token to our server, which checks it with Google Play and records your Premium status, product and expiry date against your account. We never receive your card or payment details.
04Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version of the App shows ads from Google AdMob (banner, native, interstitial, rewarded and app-open ads). AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and interactions with ads to show ads, measure them, limit how often you see them and prevent fraud. In the European Economic Area, the UK, Switzerland and other regions where it is required, the App asks for your consent through Google's consent form (User Messaging Platform) before personalized ads are shown. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your device's Google settings. 05Permissions the App asks for
• Folder access (Storage Access Framework): to read the status folder you pick. You can revoke it at any time.
• Camera: only to scan QR codes in the QR scanner. Camera frames are processed on your device and are never stored or uploaded.
• Notifications: to tell you about new or expiring statuses and send App announcements. You can turn this off in Android settings.
• Storage (older Android versions only): to save statuses to your gallery.
• Google Play Billing: to process Premium purchases.
• Internet: to load ads, sign you in, deliver notifications and check purchases.
06Direct Link
If you paste a link into Direct Link, your device connects directly to that website to fetch the publicly available photo or video. The link and media are not sent to our servers. Only use links to content you have the right to save.
07How we use information
We use the information above only to provide and maintain the App, run your account, deliver notifications you asked for, verify purchases, show ads, prevent abuse and respond to your requests. We do not use your information for any other purpose and we do not sell it.

The App relies on these services, which process data under their own privacy policies:

09Data sharing
We share data only with the service providers listed above, who process it on our behalf to run the App, and when required by law. We do not share your information with anyone for their own marketing.
10Data security
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to our database is restricted by security rules so that you can read only your own account data, and Premium status can only be written by our server. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
11Data retention and deletion
Account, device and Premium records are kept while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and all associated data at any time by emailing chandankumar.apt1@gmail.com from your account's email address with the subject "Delete my Status Saver Pro account".
We delete your data within 30 days of a verified request. Data processed by Google for ads or purchases is retained under Google's own policies. Uninstalling the App removes the data stored on your device.
12Children's privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
13Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version is always available in the App and on this page, and the "Last updated" date shows when it last changed.
